Sleeptight Hampton Roads is dedicated to keeping babies sleeping safely. We strongly believe our entire community can work together to offer support, education, and resources so no more babies die from preventable unsafe sleep.
Unsafe sleep is the number one reason why infants (1month - 1year old) die. In fact, in the greater Hampton Roads region during 2008-2018, 277 babies died. That is 277 families that won't be able to celebrate their baby's 1st birthday.
However, this tragedy can be PREVENTED! Along with an aligned, multifaceted approach to preventing the tragic death of infants with resources and education across Hampton Roads, Sleeptight provides families in need with safe sleep education and a pack-n-play crib.
Sleeptight Hampton Roads provides a variety of programs and services to our community. Last year, we provided nearly 450 pack-n-play cribs with safe sleep education. Learn more.
Sleeptight Hampton Roads offers a centralized resource center for staff and provider training on all things safe sleep! It is free to access, you just need to create a new login with your email and a password of your choice.
